What To Do In Copenhagen: Café Europa 1989
12:58
I felt that it would only be right to have my first What To Do In Copenhagen post to be one about food. Because yum. To kick off this series of posts, I would like to feature one of my absolute favourite places to eat in Copenhagen - Café Europa 1989. Located in the centre of Copenhagen, in Amagertorv, this is the perfect place to take a break from your sightseeing or shopping ventures and treat yourself to a delicious meal.
It is a little bit on the pricey side, (Copenhagen can often be slightly expensive in certain aspects such as food) but this place is so worth it. The times I have had the pleasure of going to Café Europa, it has been for lunch (or brunch - if ever I can get brunch, i will get brunch. I love brunch. Can you tell?). My favourite thing they do is the Eggs Benedict (you can have them with your choice of either ham, bacon, salmon, or fresh shrimp - the latter is a very Scandinavian option). Along with that, I almost always get one of their lemonades. They are heavenly.
You can check out their various menus on their website (click here). You can try some of the more traditional Danish foods, such as the open sandwich as well!
I hope you guys have enjoyed this short and sweet food post! And if you have the chance to visit Café Europa, I hope you have the most wonderful dining experience. Until next time - peace out!
Love, Caroline x
